Malphigian tubule system

The Malphigian tubule system is a type of excretory systemfound in Phylum Arthropoda.

It consists of branching tubulesextending from the midgutthat absorb solutes, water, and wastes from the surrounding hemolymph. The wastes then are released from the organism in the form of solid nitrogenous wastes.
