The prostatic utricle (also known as vagina masculina) is the male homologueof the female uterusand vagina. It is located in the prostatic urethra, on the seminal colliculus, laterally flanked by openings of the ejaculatory ducts. The prostatic utricle is derived from the Müllerian ducts, also known as the paramesonephric ducts.
