Aftershave

Aftershave is a lotion, gel, or liquid used - mainly by men - after they have finished shaving. It may contain an antiseptic agent such as alcoholto prevent infection from cuts, a perfumeto enhance scent, and a moisturizerto soften the skin.

It is also referred to as Eau de Cologne.

Noted brands include Axe(also known as Lynx), Old Spice, Gillette, and Brut.

Many fashion designerslend their names to brandsof aftershave. Popular examples of this include Hugo Boss, Calvin Kleinand Tommy Hilfiger.
