Michael Koffler

Michael C. Koffler born November 161955, Brooklyn, New York, raised in Flushing, Queens, New York, and presently resides in Manhattan, New York. He is founder and CEOof MetSchools, Inc., the New York Citybased education service provider, which is the largest privately held, for-profitcompany of its kind. The company operates funded and private pay regular and special education schools in Manhattan, Brooklynand Queens. The company serves over 2,000 children and employs 505, while growing at 25% and planning five more facilities by 2008. He is active on a variety of boards, and has endowed the Michael C. Koffler Professorship in autismat Pace University. This is the first university endowment in autism in America. MetSchools is to open Rebecca School, for 200 children in Manhattan which will be the largest day program dedicated to autism, worldwide. He has served at Chairman of Young President's Organization Metro New York Chapter. He is married, and has two college age sons.
