Alloimmunity
Alloimmunity is a condition in which the body gains immunityagainst cellsfrom another individual of the same species. It can occur after allografts (grafts) or transfusionsof fluids such as bloodor plasma.
Alloimmunity should not be confused with autoimmunity. Autoimmunity details a condition in which the body attacks its own cells.
