Gilmore's groin
Gilmore's groin, also (incorrectly) titled the Sportman's Hernia, is an injury of the groincommonly affecting sportsmen. It involves the tearing of the adductor muscles of the groin near to the pubic bone of the affected side, leaving a dilated superficial inguinal canal. It causes pain in affected persons, mainly affecting players of association football.

- torn external oblique aponeurosis
- torn conjoined tendon
- conjoined tendon torn from pubic tubercle
- dehiscence between conjoined tendon and inguinal ligament
