Eggs per gram
Eggs per gram (EPG) is a laboratory test that determines the number of eggsper gramof fecesin patients suspected of having a parasitologicalinfection, such as schistosomiasis. EPG is the primary diagnostic method for schistosomiasis, as opposed to a blood test.
