Liver fluke

Liver flukes are a polyphyleticgroup of a trematodes(a kind of flatworm).

Examples include:

• Clonorchis sinensis (the "Chinese liver fluke" or the "human liver fluke")
• Dicrocoelium dendriticum (lancet liver fluke)
• Fasciola hepatica (the "sheep liver fluke")
• Fascioloides magna (the "giant liver fluke")
• Fasciola gigantica
• Opisthorchis viverrini (Southeast Asian liver fluke)
• Opisthorchis felineus (cat liver fluke).
