Abiotic stress
Abiotic stress is caused in living organismsby nonliving environmentalfactors, such as drought, extreme temperatures, soilconditions, and high winds. Plantsare especially dependent on environmental factors, and continued abiotic stress can have harmful effects on them or force natural selection.
