Hypoxic hypoxia
Hypoxic hypoxia is hypoxiaresulting from a defective mechanism of oxygenation in the lungs; may be caused by a low tension of oxygen, abnormal pulmonaryfunction or respiratoryobstruction, or a right-to-left shunt in the heart.
