Abbott Axsym

The Abbott Axsym is an immunochemical automated analysermade by Abbott Laboratories. It is used for serologytests and therapeutic drug monitoring, and uses antibodies to alter the deflectionof polarised light. It can also be used to monitor hormone level and some cardiac markerssuch as troponin.

Samples and reagents go in the carousel on the right of the machine.
