Mild
Mild is a generic term that is normally used to mean average, bland (lacking zest), or not strong.
- Cigarettesare sometimes contensiously labelled mild.
- Manners- As in mild mannered Clark Kent, Superman.
- Food- Mild is used in relation to foods such as chilli peppersthat - according to the scoville scale- lack "heat", or a currythat contains only moderate amounts of spices.
- Mild beer- is often simply referred to as mild from the Old Englishmilde meaning "young" or "immature".
- Symptoms- Can be described as mild, as opposed to strong.
- Weather- Mild as in not extreme, or it could mean temperate.
