Pouchong (Chinese: 包種茶; Hanyu Pinyin: B?ozhòngchá) is a very lightly oxidized teasomewhere between green teaand what is usually considered oolong tea.
Its name in Chinese, literally "the wrapped kind", refers to a practice of wrapping the leaves in paper during the drying process that has probably died out. It is produced mainly in Fujianon the Mainlandand in Taiwan. At its best it gives off a floral fragrance and has a rich, mild melony taste.
