Isha yoga

Isha yoga practices the ancient yogicprinciple that the body is the temple of the spirit and that good health is fundamental to personal and spiritual development. Its approach is truly holistic, treating each person as a whole being and recognizing the essential unity of body, mind and spirit.

Through Isha yoga programs, yoga is communicated on an experiential level encouraging an opening of the heart and consciousness to new dimensions of feeling, thinking and living, showing that spiritual life does not deny worldly, social and family responsibilities, but rather uses them as vehicles for personal growth and realization.

Isha yoga provides a supportive atmosphere in which people can make the change to a healthier lifestyle and learn how to improve their work, relationships and level of self-fulfillment. Irrespective of one?s age or occupation, these powerful experiences can be applied to create a life that vibrates with greater joy and inner peace.

Isha yoga offers a unique opportunity to break through limitations into a natural state of freedom and love. It is a scientifically structured program which combines Shakti Chalana kriyas — a dynamic process of balancing energy movement, shoonya meditation — a potent process of conscious non-doing, and a clear, candid approach to the fundamentals of life.

Thousands have been relieved of chronic physical and emotional disturbances such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, migraines, obesity, depression, fear, anger, and anxiety. By balancing one?s system, these powerful practices bring about a total state of health and well-being. Mental clarity, awareness, and concentration are also enhanced.

The practices taught do not demand any physical agility or previous experience of yoga, and they integrate seamlessly into one?s daily life. Isha Yoga is a purely experiential science which does not propagate any particular ideology, religion or belief system and works toward the well-being of all people.
